As we know Volume is very important in Technical Analysis we also need to know about bullish and bearish volume. You can easily identify bullish and bearish volume if you know the Volume analysis. Suppose when you see price of a particular share is increasing and volume also increasing then you can take it as a bullish volume. look at the graph. When price was increasing the volume was increasing and spread between opening and closing price was high. So we can say this is a bullish volume. Similarly in figure - 2 when the price was decreasing the volume were decreasing and spread between opening and closing price was high. So we can say this is a bearish volume.
